Cold Weather Shelter

Emergency shelter during harsh winters can save lives. Weld’s Way Home partners with Catholic Charities to provide emergency cold weather shelter at the Housing Navigation Center in Evans.

The cold weather shelter opens on November 1, 2018 and is open to single men and single women (18+) until April 15, 2019. Cold weather shelter hours are from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily. For eligibility questions please call Catholic Charities at (970) 353-6433 or (970) 353-3720 or visit the 2-1-1 Database. Identification is required; this includes any document that has the person’s name and DOB, including letters from referring agencies, churches, or community partners.

Do have a few hours to spare to serve the homeless in Weld County? The cold weather shelter is seeking volunteers to bring and serve food at the cold weather shelter.
